Sister's Lament

Ripping you to pieces
So no one can see your face
Losing something precious
That will never be replaced.

You fill your heart with poison
And flush out all the good
You've given up on everyone
And the ground where you once stood.

Go look into a mirror
And see where you've succumb
You let it eat away at you
Until a shadow you've become.

It hurts to look and see you
And miss what I loved most
Because dear heart there's nothing left of you
You see, you've become a ghost.

It's like terror in a nightmare
This creature that you are
When the horror creeps into the words
The wounds become the scars.

My poor one you are covered
Who is this tragic, deformed stranger?
We tried to warn you of the darkness
But you welcomed the danger.

And now this thing is over
You've pushed me to the end
And while you think that your immortal-
I've lost my sister and my friend.
